Elizabeth F. Caldwell
Visiting Professor in Religious Education
Elizabeth Francis Caldwell served on the faculty of McCormick Theological Seminary from 1984-2014, teaching in the field of Ministry where she was the Harold Blake Walker Professor of Pastoral Theology and Associate Dean for Students and Academics. She has published in the area of Faith and Families. Her most recent book is God’s Big Table, Nurturing Children in a Diverse World, Pilgrim Press, 2011. After retiring from McCormick in 2014, she is enjoying adjunct teaching at Vanderbilt Divinity School, writing and consulting on a new curriculum, Growing in Grace and Gratitude for the Presbyterian Church, U.S.A. and working on a manuscript for Abingdon Press on engaging children and parents in reading the Bible in new ways.
