Trudy H. Stringer is Senior Lecturer in Church and Ministries and Associate Director of Field Education. She is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church and served as a hospital chaplain for thirteen years. Her work includes teaching in the areas of the practice of ministry and global perspectives immersion learning. In this capacity she has traveled and studied with students in Mexico, Nicaragua, Namibia, and Vietnam. Her interests focus on the intersection of theory and praxis/ theology and experience, as these dynamically interact to shape theological inquiry and practice.
