Laura is from St. Paul, MN. She earned her BA from Bryn Mawr College as a double major in Spanish and Political Science and her MA in International Relations from the University of Barcelona. Before transferring to the Blair School of Music and the Vanderbilt Divinity School, Laura worked in VU’s LAPOP Lab for four years managing financial and administration operations.
Laura develops, analyzes, and conducts complex financial analyses to assess the viability of strategic and financial programs and independently prepares and analyzes various financial reports and reconciliations to support leadership and decision-making within the schools and for the Deans. Reporting directly to Chief Business Officer Kathryn Dudley, Laura will support the development of annual operating and capital budgets and monthly financial forecasts, including the use of advanced knowledge of spreadsheets, presentation tools, and Vanderbilt systems to prepare financial reporting for School and University constituents.
Laura has two little boys and is also a part-time Master’s student at VU’s Law School.
