A symposium on Queering DeathA Symposium on Queering Death

Larkspur Conservation, the Carpenter Program in Religion, Gender, and Sexuality, and the K.C. Potter Center for LGBTQI+ Life collaborated to offer a second symposium that explores how queerness helps us reimagine death, loss, and grief within our lived experiences and spiritual communities.

As with last year’s symposium, Queering Death included a late morning panel followed by early afternoon workshops that focus on creativity, poetry, grief, and visual art. Coinciding with the Lenten season and the beginning of Spring, Queering Death was designed for community members, faith leaders, and students who are interested in discovering tools to help navigate grief both for themselves and their communities.
