Cheryl Williams

Director of Administration

Cheryl Williams earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She began her career teaching English composition and literature classes before moving into administration. Her twenty years of higher education experience includes both academic and student affairs, having served as academic dean at Motlow State Community College and as vice president of student services at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology – Murfreesboro. She has served on four SACSCOC reaffirmation teams, written two institutional strategic plans, and increased enrollment at her current institution by 37% in two years.

Cheryl and her husband, Phil, are members of the Cathedral of the Incarnation. They reside in Brentwood and share a son, Jackson, who works in Massachusetts. In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys reading, crocheting, cooking, and traveling.
