Assistant to the Dean

As the Assistant to the Dean, Helen will provide high-level administrative support including managing the Dean’s calendar, coordinating faculty actions, and helping oversee the daily operations of the Dean’s Office. She will also serve as a key liaison across departments and stakeholders to support the initiatives of the Dean. Helen will administratively report to Cheryl Williams, Director of Administration, while working closely with the Dean and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs.

Helen is a Nashville native. She received her B.S. in Business Management from Tennessee Technological University. Helen worked previously for Volkswagen Group of America as a Technical Assistant to the Vice President of Purchasing as well as a Systems Analyst for their Central Functions Team. She joined Vanderbilt University as the Administrative Coordinator for the Mathematics Department. As the Assistant to the Dean, Helen strives to utilize her skills in organization and communication to support the Dean’s vision for the School of Divinity.

In her free time, she loves to cuddle with her dog Graham, read classic literature, and hike.
