Sana Selemon

Administrative Manager

Sana Selemon is the Administrative Manager for the Vanderbilt Divinity School where she focuses on administrative support to the Graduate Department of Religion, the Program in Theology and Practice, and the Doctor of Ministry in Integrative Chaplaincy. She also supports the Divinity School as the HCM Specialist processing all student transactions and provides procurement assistance to various programs and faculty.

Selemon comes to the Divinity School from VU’s Theatre Department where she served as the Administrative Specialist. She earned her BFA in Acting from Ohio University, where she also minored in Sociolinguistics, sparking her passion for accents and the study of languages. Before relocating to Nashville, Sana spent six years in Chicago, where she worked on a variety of theatrical productions, TV shows, and commercials as an actor, dialect coach, teaching artist, and administrator.

Her experiences in theatre piqued her interest in the producing side of the arts. This led to roles as the Executive Director of BoHo Theatre and Artistic Assistant at the Marriott Theatre. Outside of her artistic pursuits, Sana finds joy in supporting her community through advocacy and compassion—a sentiment she continues to embrace in her work at Vanderbilt.
